re Verbs
Several useful verbs end in -re. As such, knowing their conjugation patterns will be very beneficial.

Verbs ending in -re are all grouped into the 3rd group, meaning their conjugation patterns cannot be easily predicted. To make things more challenging, not all verbs ending in -re follow the same pattern. In fact, verbs ending in -re are grouped into several different categories. Here, we’ll look at some of the most common conjugation patterns.

The verb ‘dire’ is one of a very short list of verbs with a vous-form that does not end in ‘-ez’ in the present. The verbs ‘contredire’ and ‘interdire’ follow this pattern, except for in the vous-form. (contredisez, interdisez)
